In modern production, the use of wrapping machines is very extensive, suitable for the production of PVC, decorative paint paper, and solid wood veneer on the surface of various lines such as wood, aluminum-plastic profiles, and foam materials. It effectively replaces traditional painting processes, greatly shortens the time for material production, improves production efficiency, and reduces the harm of paint to the human body.

1、 Working principle of wrapping machine
Various molding rollers are used to simulate the manual veneer action, and surface decorative materials are attached to the substrate surface. Generally, the centerline, highest point, or lowest point of the profile is selected as the starting point, and the roller is fixed in position along the profile surface contour, point by point and sequentially, forming the envelope of the profile contour.

2、 The classification of wrapping machines is generally divided into two types: cold glue and hot glue
Cold glue coating machine uses liquid glue: Liquid glue can be divided into solvent glue and water-based glue, and there are two ways of coating: scraping and roller coating. The volatile solvent glue is scraped and coated, and the glue box is easy to seal to prevent the coating glue from evaporating; Water based adhesives and solvent adhesives with low volatility are generally coated with rollers for ease of operation.

Hot glue wrapping machine uses solid glue: it is heated and melted in the hot glue box of the wrapping machine before use. The heating temperature of the wrapping glue is generally around 220 ℃, suitable for applying solid wood veneer and decorative paint paper.
3、 The wrapping material of the wrapping machine
1. Base materials: wood thread, medium density board, wood plastic, plastic steel PVC、 Aluminum profiles and other lines. Substrate requirements: It is a regular line profile with grooves and curved surfaces, but each point must be a straight line in the longitudinal direction, with a certain degree of pressure resistance, and the length is generally above 40 centimeters to infinity.
2. Veneer materials: PVC decorative film, decorative paper, solid wood veneer, Boeing board, composite aluminum film, etc. The width is determined according to the substrate requirements and the selected model, generally below 50 centimeters. At present, there are also extra wide profiles around 100 centimeters on the market. Solid wood veneer can be rolled or single sheet. Solid wood veneer is generally made with non-woven fabric on the bottom surface. The surface material without non-woven fabric should not be transparent and is prone to breakage at corners.
4、 The correct installation steps for the wrapping machine are as follows:
1. Before installation, it is necessary to ensure that there are two to three operators for this machine, and the machine should be installed in a workshop with a clean environment and flat ground. After the machine is placed in place, the accessories on the machine should be removed and checked and verified according to the list of assembled machines.
2. Adjust the bolts on the foundation to ensure even and stable force distribution, ultimately enabling the aircraft to reach a horizontal state.
3. Check the machine process to see if it has been damaged or bumped during transportation.
4. Power requirements: This machine uses a 380 volt three-phase four wire power supply. The specification of the power cord should be larger than 2.5 square millimeters, and the rightmost wire of the power input line is the neutral wire. This machine needs to be equipped with a grounding wire according to the grounding standard. After turning on the power, check if the motor, heater, lighting, etc. are normal.
5、 Maintenance and upkeep of the wrapping machine
1. The working area of the coating machine should be kept clean to prevent some dust from falling into the coating system, which directly leads to a decrease in the quality of the coating.
2. After the first month of use, the lubricating oil in the gearbox of the maintenance machine should be replaced with new lubricating oil. Afterwards, it should be replaced every six months. During periods of high workload, it should be replaced every three months. When the temperature is hot in summer, it is necessary to replace the gearbox lubricating oil with high viscosity. When the temperature is relatively low in winter, the gearbox lubricating oil with lower viscosity should be replaced. Butter should be added to the parts of the chain once a month.
3. After completing the work, the main power must be turned off.
4. When repairing or adjusting components, it should be handled by relevant professionals.
6、 How to use the wrapping machine correctly
1. First, turn on the main power supply, power on the control cabinet, and then use both hands to control the button for the barrel to rise, causing the wrapping machine to run to the 90 degree feeding position.
2. Utilize the vehicle to carry out different feeding operations according to the different requirements of the process.
3. Control the button for lowering the barrel with both hands to rotate the wrapping barrel to the 25 degree wrapping position, and activate the button for rotating the wrapping machine to start rotating the wrapping barrel.
4. Set the heating temperature of the wrapping machine, control the temperature of the inner wall of the wrapping bucket to be less than or equal to 65 degrees Celsius, and turn on the heating to heat the wrapping bucket.
5. According to the process regulations, add additives to carry out insulation coating work.
6. After all the powder has been dried, turn off the heating power and control the button for the barrel to descend with both hands, so that the coating barrel can run to the discharge position of 320 degrees for unloading. During unloading, be sure to keep the coating barrel rotating.
7. When the temperature on the inner wall of the barrel is less than or equal to 40 degrees Celsius, the rotation of the wrapped barrel can be stopped and the main power can be turned off to wait for the next operation.
7、 How to extend the service life of the coating machine spindle
1. The grooves formed by machining on the surface of the coating machine spindle can also cause stress concentration. The corrosive medium on the stress concentration area of the coating machine surface can promote the formation of corrosion pits, which further enhance stress concentration. Corrosion pits generate microcracks under the action of alternating stress and stress concentration. Under cyclic working stress, cracks continue to propagate until the main shaft fractures and fails.
2. If the main shaft fracture of the wrapping machine occurs at the location of surface stress concentration, it is a multi-source corrosion fatigue fracture, and stress concentration often leads to early failure of the component.
3. Corrosion fatigue of coating machine spindle is generated under the combined action of corrosive medium and alternating stress, generally belonging to multi-source fatigue. There are some corrosion pits on the surface of the spindle, and a small amount of sulfur and chlorine elements have been detected in the corrosion pits, indicating the presence of acidic corrosive media in the environment.
4. The main media that the wrapping machine spindle comes into contact with are lubricating oil and volatile substances in the environment. Therefore, the quality of lubricating oil should be strictly controlled, and non corrosive lubricating oil should be used to prevent the volatilization of corrosive substances.
5. The surface of the coating machine spindle is quenched and hardened to form tissue compressive stress, which can increase surface wear resistance and fatigue resistance. But the presence of more inclusions in steel reduces the material's fatigue resistance. The matrix structure of the shaft is tempered martensite+bainite (already tempered)+ferrite, indicating that the steel is not fully quenched and the cooling rate is slow during quenching.
